New 64-bit USB Drivers
New USB drivers for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows OS are now available for the DVC2 ECO 512 and the DVC2 128-M USB/DMX interfaces. Only DasLight Virtual Controller 2 (DVC2) is compatible with 64-bits, not the old DasLight software (DVC1).
Important Notes:
- The new driver only works with 64-bits for DVC2 ECO, DVC2 128-M, and the next generation DasLight interfaces.
- All other USB interfaces previously supplied by DasLight do not use the new 64-bit drivers. They only work under the 32-bit mode with the current 32-bit drivers.
- To be compatible with 64-bits, systems without any problems must use the Beta, or newer (as of March 2009), version of the DVC2 software. The new divers need to be manually installed.
- The Beta version is available from www.daslight.com and offers a choice to install either the 32-bit (old) or 64-bit (new) drivers.
- These new drivers are not compatible with older versions of the DVC2 software (versions earlier than March 2009)
- The DVC1 software (first generation) is not compatible with 64-bit operating systems, so you must use the 32-bit driver in this case.

DVC2 Tutorial in Japanese
Eagerly awaited in the land of the rising sun, the turorial is now availabe also in Japanese. Our Japanese friends will be able to easily get the Virtual Controller 2 software and quickly learn the basic techniques of DVC2 programming.

New tool “Daslight Virtual Screen” for the DVC2
The DVC2 GOLD, 512 and ECO 512 have a new graphic tool called “Daslight Virtual Screen”. This tool uses the “Daslightremotecontrol.dll” communication to command the DVC2 software through a customizable and easy to use human graphic interface. You can easily manage and trigger all your visual effects directly with a touch screen. You can create and customize the human graphic interface depending on your customer's design and requests.
This new tool will be showed at the PLASA international exhibition in UK, it is also available with the Beta version and will become official very soon.

Daslight compatible DMX
For software developers
Daslight Virtual controller 2 now offers to all other software the possibility to be compatible with DMX 512 fixtures trough virtual controller2 and Daslight USB/DMX interfaces. We supply to audio, video and multimedia software developers a new DLL file of communication (daslightvirtualscrenn.dll). This feature allows to software to be compatible with DMX 512 by triggering any scenes of the DVC2. Some more audio and DJ functions are also available with the DLL. Daslight opens a new DMX gate to software and users can choose the Daslight DMX compatible logo.
