Re: Midi Fader Programming Question
Thanks for the information Benno. What's the chance of getting the functionality you spoke of with the Palette window working as you describe but programmable as a scene? This would most certainly be enough to achieve the effect I want.

Re: Midi Fader Programming Question
Thanks for the explanation. Are you saying that this will never be achievable in Daslight as the more advanced functionality will always be in Sunlite or will future versions of Daslight eventually support similar advanced functionality like I'm after? I'm guessing the DVC Fun box won't work with Su...

Midi Fader Programming Question
I'm not sure how to go about programming the following behaviour, I'm hoping someone could advise. Let's say you have a moving head with a rotating gobo channel and this channel for example does both clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation at varying speeds. What I'm try to do is two things, firstly I...

Re: Override/Zones Functionality
Steffen summed it up perfectly. Would be good to see the manual, hoping this will show me how to do this.

Scene Triggering through Midi
Is it possible to change the scene Time/BPM/Pulse triggering through Midi as this would be useful when you have say a colour chase scene which is stepping through to the BPM but on a particular song you would like to change it to step through to the pulse of the music without having to try and chang...

Re: Override/Zones Functionality
Have you got a demo file or video on how to do this as I can't seem to make it work? In a nutshell I'm basically after a feature whereby the fixtures play all the normal programmed scenes that maybe triggered through other scenes or in scenes with other fixtures but when certain fixtures are moved i...

Override/Zones Functionality
Is it currently possible to have some form of override or "zones" functionality for fixtures? Imagine you have a room full of uplighting programmed in with various rainbow effects, chase scenes etc that you use all the time and you find out that for a gig that the customer just wants them ...

Automatic Fixture Scene Generation
I feel it would be really handy to have an automatic scene generation feature when patching a fixture, removing the need for creating all the basic scenes for a fixture. So for a moving head for example when you patch the fixture it asks if you'd like to generate the basic scenes and clicking yes wo...

Multiple Scene Trigger Functionality
It would be really useful to have a multiple scene trigger button of some kind that it's sole purpose is to trigger a number of scenes on AND off and could also work as a flash button with Midi support. That way I can create all my scenes for movements, colours, gobos etc individually and use a &quo...

Re: Custom Palettes
This is really massive feature missing that I also require, it is a nightmare reprogramming all the scenes when a movement has changed slightly. I'm hoping this is definitely something in a near future version of Daslight.

Re: "Cue" Functionality
Hi TomHat, Thank you for the reply, this actually answers another question I had regarding macros. The "cue" functionality I was after wouldn't work with your suggestion as it was more for scenes that were ONLY known during a live performance and not during programming. The feature I'm aft...

"Cue" Functionality
I think it would be really useful to have some form of "cue" function where you can press the button and select as many scenes as you like and they won't be triggered on/off until the press of the "cue" button again. This button should have no affect on the current running scenes...
