Eurolite 1750 Hybrid Derby Washlights do not react on Masterdimmer

Post by CyberDirk »

Dear DasLight-Team,

I installed latest DasLight4 Version Oct. 22. But Eurolite 1750 Hybrid Derby Washlights do not react on Masterdimmer commands. Washlights are always on 100% light. I want to reduce the light intensity with Masterdimmer function which is not working.

Is there an update patch for EuroLight Hybrid derby FE-1750 to have the wahslights reacting on Masterdimmer?

Best regards Dirk

Hello,

Can you look into the channels settings of your fixtures and make sure the dimmer channel is marked as "dimmer" in the channels table ?

You need to see a check mark on the "Dimmer" column for your Dimmer channel.

Sometimes this setting isn't set properly on some fixture profiles.

TomHat

Dear TomHat,

thank you so much for your support helping me to find a solution.

I checked the fixture channels for Eurolite led FE-1750 Mode 2.

13 Channels:

1: RED
2: GREEN
3: BLUE
4: UV
5: WASHLIGHT
6: WASHLIGHT STROBE
7: DERBY
8: DERBY STROBE
9: DERBY ROTATION
10: LASER
11: LASER ROTATION
12. STROBE RING
13: AUTO/SOUND CONTROL MODE

Unfortunately I cannot see within these 13 channels a Dimmer channel for Eurolite led FE-1750 Mode 2. I also opened the Fixture in ScanLibary and could not see that Dimmer is one of 13 channels.

I checked my other devices: They have in DasLight4 Vers. 26-Oct-2022 a Dimmer channel and they react perfectly on DasLight Masterdimmer.

Is it possible to add a Dimmer channel for Eurolite led FE-1750? Or could I change e.g. channel 13: AUTO/SOUND CONTROL MODE to 13: DIMMER? Because I do not need the Auto/Sound Function.

Best regards Dirk

Hello,

I have just tested this fixture profile (mode 2) with Master dimmer in the latest Daslight4 and it seems to be working just fine.
I tested :
- Create a simple scene with full brightness for the washlights (RED GREEN BLUE UV = 255)
- Started the scene in LIVE
- Set the Master Dimmer value to 50 %

The DMX values for the RED, GREEN, BLUE and UV channels are down to 127 as they should be.

Or did I misunderstand your issue ?

TomHat

Ticket solved:

I did the same way like you did and it is working now :-D

I am so happy to have a solution to create now more easily low light moods.

Maybe it was the problem that I programmed the scenes in older versions of Daslight 4. With actual version and actual fixture update going through your steps it works perfectly.

Thank you so much TomHat and have a great day ahead :D
