Super scene Edit pause/stop

in edit mode, it seems as if when i press space while a super scene is playing it pauses but when i press space again it seems to jump to the beginning even though im not holding ctrl........ i don't think this is expected behavior because after i do ctrl space a couple times, and interact with the timeline, it then pauses and stops fine. as far as i can tell live mode works fine but edit mode seems to be a bit funky.

Hello,
If the focus is in the Scene area, space bar start the selected scene.
If the focus is in the timeline area, space bar toggle start and stop and you can use space + Ctrl

I see.... I guess I missed that from not having anything to indicate the focus area, element inspector shows some other definitive focus areas that might be my problem with programming workflow as well. maybe a dotted line around the focus area in edit mode? but have a setting in the settings window to toggle it?
